The laboratory's measurement, analysis and model production facilities are open to joint work with researchers from within the university, from Türkiye and from abroad.
These facilities may provide a basis in particular for the following kinds of work:
- With clinical departments: studies quantifying facial and trunk movement, surface morphology and muscle activity in patient groups; patient-specific models for surgical planning.
- With basic sciences and engineering: validation of new sensors, software and measurement methods against the optoelectronic system; study of the mechanical properties of tissues and materials.
- With industry: joint R&D projects on the development and validation of measurement devices and methods.
- In graduate education: MSc and PhD theses, co-supervision and research visits.
Joint projects can be planned within TÜBİTAK, TÜSEB, BAP and international funding programmes.
